In response to the recent tornado that devastated Tongaat, Chester Butcheries has stepped up to support the relief efforts. Recognizing the urgent need for food supplies, we donated 195 five-kilogram packs of frozen chicken to a Operation Centre that has been set up at the Vishwaroop Temple at 10 Plane Street Tongaat.
All collections are received at this depot and a network of selfless volunteers and coordinators ensure the aid reaches the victims. From this centre they are preparing and distributing 5100 hot meals daily which includes breakfast, lunch and supper.
We are glad we could contribute by our donation for the meal’s distribution program.
